Last night we had a Christmas party with the college students. We first went to the mall and did the angel tree thing where we bought gifts for underprivileged kids. We next went to a nearby assisted living home and sang Christmas carols for the residents. We had a really nice time.

The kids did really well throughout the festivities. Logan liked the singing with the elderly people. We had one incident where there was a nice old man watching us. Dan told Logan to shake his hand and the man grabbed him and tried to hug him. Logan just smiled and pulled away. On the way home he told us that he was afraid the man was going to take him. I felt so bad that he was scared. We tried to explain that the man was just being nice but we realized that we probably shouldn't have had him shake his hand!
After the carolling we went to our house and had yummy finger foods and hot cider. It was a great night enjoyed with friends.
