We had a wonderful time at Omi's (Dan's mom) house. It felt so great to get out of town and go to Salmon where the mountains are beautiful and we get a little taste of small town living. Dan and I both grew up in small towns and it is always refreshing to go back home! The kids had a great time, especially Logan. Some of the highlights for him were the ducks down at Kid's Creek, singing happy birthday to Omi (and of course eating the cake), "workin" with Dad and family in the yard, playing the piano, and throwing rocks and sticks in the river. Pretty much everything he was excited about doing before we left! We took LOTS of pictures so I will probably break them up throughout the week so here goes...
Here we are on the road. One day Macy will hit the 20 pound mark and be able to turn around. We will celebrate!!! On the way down we had to duck at every overpass. This is Logan's new thing and he gets very upset if we forget.
Logan LOVED helping Dad trim the bushes in the front yard. He felt like such a big kid. He kept saying, "Mom, I'm workin, Mom" with a very serious face. Dan is very patient with him when he "helps" and they make a great team.
I really like this picture except for the fact that Macy looks like she has an old man's comb-over.
Macy didn't do alot of "workin" but she entertained us for sure.
