Enjoying God's Creativity

Thanks to our elementary school teacher Aunt Meagan, we had catepillars in our house for a while.




They were fittingly named Elmo and Cookie Monster.


Logan was so-so interested in the critters and Macy pretty much didn't know they existed. Dan thought they were pretty cool, but I was AMAZED! It was incredible to see the transformation from a fuzzy little catepillar to a beautiful brightly colored butterfly.









We tried to release them into they wild. We expected a dramatic scene where the butterflies flew off into the sunset to live happily ever after. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We opened the lid and Dan had to pry one out with a stick. The other one was found the next day in the grass nearby. We don't see them now so we are hoping for the best.
