We were given this book, The Evergreen Wood, recently and absolutely love it. It is a children's adaptation of The Pilgrim's Progress. It is the story of Christopher the mouse who begins a journey from his home in The Dark Wood to The Evergreen Wood where the King promises peace and safety. We are only on Chapter 3, but we all can't wait to keep going. It is a great story that tells us about the Great Story of the true King who is calling us all.
