Say What?????

Today, we were making lunch in the kitchen and Macy was playing with the alphabet magnets on the fridge. She couldn't reach one and said "geeee" while pointing to it. It was a G. We joked about how Macy knew her letters and decided to test her. Much to our suprise Macy knew all the letters we pointed to!!!! WHAT???? I guess the leap frog alphabet magnet thingy really helps! She plays with it all the time.

She is a little distracted by the camera in this video and so it isn't a perfect display of her amazing abilities. I thought maybe we imagined it and retested her tonight. She got all of them right again! So often we underestimate her abilities because of her speech delay. Shame on us. We are learning more and more that she is one smart cookie!
