Macy had physical therapy on Thursday (she gets it twice a month). She has met our initial goals with therapy. We mainly just wanted her to get mobile. Three months ago she was only sitting up and if we stood her against the wall she would walk along it holding on. Since than Joni has helped her to crawl, climb, and now walk. We have set some new goals to work on. They are :
- throw a tennis ball over and under hand
- step up stairs (hard to do with Macy's short little legs :-)
- walk smoother and faster
- hop (which isn't really a goal until 2 but we're gonna get started!
She LOVES the play area at the mall. We are frequenters lately. She is also starting to finally enjoy the park- now that fall is coming- not the best timing! Yesterday, we pulled up to the park and she got really excited and said, "pa"! Than when we were leaving she started crying in her car seat as we pulled away and kept saying pathetically "pa, pa, pa". It was pretty cute!
