Well, we survived the Christmas Tree Hunt of 2011. . . would you call it a success? Well, we have a tree (pretty pretty sparse)...up and decorated...and everyone is still alive. Will we hunt next year? That is to be determined.
The pictures show happy kids...so we'll pretend they were. Logan had an awesome time. He made snow angels, went sledding and did lots of exploring. The girls on the other hand, cried the entire time. Okay, that's not entirely true...Macy very much enjoyed the ride up and the ride back as she sipped on her hot cocoa and visited with all of us.
Macy was momentarily appeased with the hot chocolate.

Sounds a little like our experience. We have a beautiful, fresh tree that we cut locally and we did all have a good time at the tree farm. It was putting it into the stand that had us (again) questioning why in the heck we don't just get a fake one. I guess next year we'll see! Love your pictures - thanks for sharing!
