We have hope! We are finally seeing the possibility that Macy will be leaving the baby stage and entering toddlerhood. It has been a long road with her. She is still not crawling but her muscles are finally developing and she seems to be growing with the medicine that she is on. For a while there we had almost given in to the fact that we were always going to have an imobile, fussy, 15 pound baby forever! Well we have finally gotten past 15 pounds and hope to never see it again (she was the same weight for over 4 months). She loves to stand holding on to things and has improved in cruising around the furniture and sidestepping along walls. We are so proud of our little Macy girl. Her face lights up any time she is able to move on her own and explore new things. She is going to be starting physical therapy this month which should help her to get crawling. She is also doing much better with her attachment issues. She will finally go to other people and not cry the entire time and she actually really enjoys nursery at church because it is a new place to explore. Our next step to her independence is weaning and that's not going to be an easy one...
