Our Macy Joy

I wanted to fill people in on what is going on with Macy. We recently had some new bloodwork done because of her incredibly slow weight gain. We tested her thyroid and her growth hormone. One of the doctor's concerns is the cyst that is on her pituitary gland that we found when she had her MRI done in June. The thyroid came back normal but the growth hormone is kind of low. He would like us to see an endocrinologist and he is considering rescanning her head to see if this cyst is developing into something else. She also still has some other bloodwork that hasn't come back yet so we will wait and also see what that tells us. Needless to say we are concerned but it is nice to be getting somewhere. We have been concerned with Macy since the beginning so I think that we are getting somewhat familiar with the feeling. We would appreciate your prayers and will try and keep you updated.
